Albee’s Travel
Founder Albee Yeend began as a Norland Nanny, where her love for travel first took off. She then spent several summers in Corfu and winters in Verbier developing her passion for food and skiing! After exploring 12 countries in a year, she settled in Botswana to run Jack’s Camp, followed by stints working at Tongabezi and Sausage Tree Camp in Zambia, where her love for Africa really developed. After over 20 years of travel industry experience, she launched Albee’s Travel in 2020 offering luxurious, worldwide adventures. Albee’s Travel works with a small number of clients at one time to give individual attention to each custom-designed holiday.
Albee’s travel expertise comes from:
- 25+ years working in the industry, including well-known tour operators.
- Visiting over 54 countries, including 24 of them in Africa.
- Spending at least two months per year on research trips.
- Living in 6 countries – she’s based in the Cotswolds and owns a South African holiday home in Plettenberg Bay.
- Being a judge for The Safari Awards each year.

Travel-inspired creations
Travel fuels Albee’s passion for both jewellery-making and photography. Her long lens is never far from her side whether photographing majestic wildlife in its natural surroundings, or the wonderful lives of people across the world. Albee specialises in silversmithing and when found in her Cotswolds studio she creates bespoke jewellery inspired by her travels. Some of her favourite finds are from Plettenberg Bay, South Africa, where she’s found many of the starfish and pansy shells featured in her pieces.

Content Marketing Manager, Danielle Ward, is an experienced travel and tourism marketer, who has worked with multiple luxury tour operators. She loves inspiring wanderlust through evocative storytelling, helping travellers picture themselves in their dream destination. Much like Albee, she embraces creativity and is a passionate watercolour artist.
